On Sunday mornings we have many visitors to our church. A friendly greeting helps bring them back again and again. Everyone can and does give a friendly greeting, but someone or ones need to be officially there to ensure no one is missed and that everyone who comes signs the guest book. You can be in charge of getting greeters there each Sunday morning, or you can volunteer to be a greeter once in awhile. Either will be appreciated. We have some members who sometimes need a ride to church events. Volunteers should be able to handle a wheelchair. We would like to have a cadre of volunteers for this, so no one individual would be called on too often. We have several groups who meet at the church at noon on Tuesdays, and our custodian, George Clemons, is off that day, so volunteers are needed to stay at the downstairs front door to let people in who are coming to the meetings. It involves about an hour on that one day a week. No training or special talents are necessary.
