Or as the kids say, Wassup? Listed here are special events coming up at First Christian Church, any announcements and our regular services and schedules.
Chancel Choir Concert, AN ENCHANTED EVENING, a visual journey through music of Rodgers and Hammerstein, directed by Charles Duke. In our sanctuary on Sunday, September 12, at 5:00 p.m. with refreshments following the performance. Come hear music from “The Sound of Music”, “The King and I”, “South Pacific” and “Carousel”. The performance is free and no reservations are required. All at First Christian Church, 612 Throckmorton, with free parking available in the lot next to the church.
A Little Noon Music, our monthly service to downtown Fort Worth, will be Friday, September 10, in our sanctuary with a light lunch following in the fellowship hall. Our artist this month is our own member, George Stephens, Bass, accompanied by Stanley Shepelwich on the piano. This event is also free with no reservations required. A donation is accepted for lunch. Free parking is available for 90 minutes in the Tower Parking garage if you bring your parking ticket to be stamped.

Church School, classes for all ages, 9:30-10:30 (See Education page)
Cherub Choir practice, 10:00
Morning worship, a traditional service, 10:50 in the sanctuary
Choristers Choir practice, 11:30
Youth group meeting, 12:30
Prayer Shawl Ministry, 4:00-6:00. Knitting and crocheting group, everyone welcome, even if
you don’t know how to knit. You can be taught.
Monday evenings Bell Choir practice 6:30 pm.
Tuesday evenings House Church, 7:00, call church for locations
Wednesday evening Prayer Service, 6:15- 6:45 in the sanctuary. Quiet meditation, prayers and
soft music by candlelight, no sermon.
Wednesday evening Chancel Choir practice, 7:00
First Saturdays Men’s Breakfast, 8:00 am. in Anderson Hall
Third Tuesdays Disciple Women’s Circle Meetings in private homes to be announced.
